Policies

We want every Celebration Cakes order to be a smooth and enjoyable experience. Please review the following policies before placing an order.

Custom Cakes & Desserts

Custom cakes and desserts require a minimum of 4 weeks’ notice. We do not accept rush orders under 4 weeks, as each order requires time for design, planning, and execution to ensure the highest quality.

Booking for events is recommended 3–6 months in advance and 6–12 months in advance for weddings and large-scale events, as availability is limited and dates fill quickly.

Booking & Payment

Your order is officially secured once your date is confirmed and the required retainer of $125 is received. The retainer is subtracted from your balance. An order is not considered booked based on an inquiry, conversation, or date request alone.

The remaining balance is due by the date stated on your invoice. Final design details must be completed by the balance due date. Celebration Cakes does not offer layaway or payment plans.

Orders with unpaid balances will not be prepared or delivered. If the balance remains unpaid and we have not received communication from you, the order will be released and the date will no longer be held.

Design Changes

Once your design has been approved, changes may not be possible. Changes requested after approval may result in an additional charge.

Cancellations & Date Changes

Because custom orders require advance planning and preparation, payments made toward an order are non-refundable.

If you need to change your event date, we will do our best to accommodate the new date based on availability. A date change is not guaranteed and does not guarantee that the original payment can be transferred if the new date is unavailable.

Pound Cakes & Shop Orders

Pound cakes and other shop products must be ordered and paid for at least 5 days in advance. Orders are subject to availability.

Delivery

All orders are delivery only. Customer pickup and walk-in service are not available.

Someone must be available to receive the order at the agreed delivery location. Once an order has been delivered and accepted, Celebration Cakes is no longer responsible for damage caused by handling, transportation, improper storage, weather, heat, or other conditions outside of our control.

Outdoor Events & Weather

Cakes are sensitive to heat, humidity, direct sunlight, and extreme weather. Celebration Cakes is not responsible for damage that occurs after delivery due to environmental conditions or improper handling.

Allergies & Ingredients

Our cakes and desserts are made with a variety of ingredients and may contain or come into contact with common allergens. Please contact us with any allergy or ingredient concerns before placing your order.

We do not have an allergen-free environment.

Cake Design & Variations

Our cakes are handmade and may have variations from photographs, inspiration images, or previous designs. Colors may also appear differently depending on lighting and photography.

Customer-Supplied Items

If you provide a cake topper, decorations, or other items to be placed on your cake, you are responsible for providing them on time and ensuring they are appropriate for use with the cake.

Photography

We may photograph completed cakes and use those images for our website, social media, and other promotional purposes. If you would prefer that your cake not be photographed or shared publicly, please let us know before your order is completed.

Agreement

By placing an order with Celebration Cakes, you acknowledge that you have had the opportunity to review these policies and agree to their terms. Failure to read or review these policies does not void their terms.
